Mission, vision and values

Our mission is to put the historical, cultural and natural heritage at the forefront as defining the historical and cultural identity of the territory, guaranteeing the highest quality and efficiency, within a framework of sustainability. This heritage allows us to explain the past but also, and above all, what have been the processes of formation of the character of the territory and its people, as well as how it has influenced the development of society. This mission is developed through a specific vision in which the heritage becomes a main actor and not a simple scenario of facts and events. In the same way, we understand the cultural heritage, in all its forms and expressions, as a result of human development and in this sense, we want to be an organization with a spirit of service, open and close to society, which generates trust and based in knowledge with a culture stimulating a cohesive and committed human team. Based on the efficiency and effectiveness of a job well done. This aspect also becomes a central space in our activity that is based on the following values:
  • Customer orientation: we discover, understand and consolidate the needs of our customers, establish honest, sincere relationships with close and respectful treatment.
  • Respect for the Environment: Commitment to the environment, minimizing the environmental impact of our actions and contributing to the preservation and conservation of biodiversity.
  • Respect for people: We are committed to adequate and stable working relationships, within a framework of equal opportunities.
  • Development: We promote the development of people through cohesion, collaboration and teamwork. Innovation and research: developing ideas to improve the service we provide to society and technological innovation.

Our mission is ultimately to generate a set of Benefits

For the community

Definition of one’s own cultural identity

Knowledge of the past and its vestiges is one of the elements that can help shape a sense of belonging, linking local communities to their towns and cities, as well as broader territorial frameworks.

Revaluation of natural and heritage spaces

Often ignorance of certain spaces ends up playing against them. Knowing them helps to identify them as their own and important, generating a desire for conservation and improvement.

New options for social and economic development

Culture ends up becoming a resource for social and economic growth, offering not only new economic activities, but also developing existing ones, which is also reflected in social conditions.

Cultural and social exchanges with visitors

The arrival of visitors from other places can finally take place in a two-way cultural and social exchange.

For the environment

Constant improvements in the general appearance of the environment

The use of cultural and natural spaces makes it necessary to carry out conservation and improvement actions that end up affecting their immediate surroundings (roads, streets, squares …)

Conservation of natural and heritage spaces

With the diffusion of cultural and patrimonial spaces these present / display a defined function that makes necessary actions of conservation.

Knowledge of unique spaces

Knowledge allows us to value spaces, far beyond the strictly local realm.

For culture and heritage

Socialization of knowledge

The knowledge that cultural and heritage spaces can bring to us is often accumulated in academic publications. This knowledge is therefore restricted to an erudite level. Our role is to make this knowledge accessible to the general public.

Recovery of cultural, natural and heritage spaces

Lost or unknown spaces are incorporated into cultural knowledge, modifying and expanding it, and also becoming new resources.

Awareness of the importance of cultural elements

Knowledge, personal and collective identification and conservation needs are elements that raise awareness about the relevance, character and importance of cultural and heritage elements.
